Types of Burn surgery

In burn surgeries two types of surgeries are very common as include:
Acute Burn Surgery, Reconstructive burn Surgery
Acute Burn Treatment is delivered by a team of Trauma Surgeon that specializes in acute burn care. Three Levels of burn

First Degree Level of Burn

The first burn level is not too harmful to a patient, as we can call it superficial burn. In First level burns include:

Shows redness, Minor inflammation, or swelling, Pain, Dry, peeling skin occurs as the burn heals
When burn affects a large area of your skin, more than three inches, and if it’s on your face or a major joint, which include:
Knee, Ankle, Foot, Spine, Shoulder, Elbow, Forearm

Second-Degree Level of Burn

This level is more serious because the damage extends beyond the top layer of skin. In this level skin become extremely red, sore, blister and takes longer than three weeks to heal.

Third-Degree Level of Burn

The third level of burn is most severe because it causes the most damage, extending through every layer of skin. It is so extensive that there may not be any pain because of nerve damage and it includes the following symptoms as:

Waxy and white color, Char, Dark brown color, Raised and leathery texture, Blisters that do not develop

Treatment of Burn Surgery

8) Consider a tetanus shot

A patient may need one or more of the following procedures:

Breathing assistance, Feeding tube, Easing blood flow around the wound, Skin grafts, Plastic surgery
